I went to the Nations oldest Jail & Bail, which is in Port Huron, MI. Members of the community get “arrested” and have to raise bail to get out of jail. My dad even got pretend arrested. He raised enough money to come home with us. All of the bail money goes to the March of Dimes. This year, we raised nearly $200,000. Way to go Port Huron!

Many generous community members came to the event to support the March of Dimes. There were some beautiful singers, and I met other ambassadors from Port Huron and Ann Arbor. I also went to an arts museum and saw giant sized bugs. They were huge! Even though they weren’t real, I was scared to get too close.

The entire event was broadcast on local television by Comcast. Thank you to everyone who sponsored the fun and successful event!
